Services
Mig/ Tig welding to the highest possible standards on Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. We only use the best quality consumables and methods. We can offer Mig and Tig Welding on site.
Sub Contract Welding
We can provide qualified Welders on a subcontract basis to help relieve workload or to undertake specified tasks requiring increased skill. Our fabricators are also highly skilled in small diameter (less than 150mm) tube manipulation, fabrication and welding using either the TIG or MIG process. Previous Subcontract work includes Roll cages, Space Frames and Stainless Steel Exhausts/ Manifolds.

Steel Stockholders
We carry a large amount of steel in stock in various shapes and sizes. We can usually supply almost any length, size and shape of Mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium within 2 working days.
Computer-Aided Design
GST Fabrication uses the latest in Cad software. We can take a basic idea and produce a fully working 3D model, this minimises the chance of a manufacturing tolerance error and using the program we can calculate stresses and weaknesses in any original design. Send us a basic sketch or full drawing, we can convert the part into a computer model and easily calculate manufacturing costs and any weaknesses/ problems with the initial design.
In-House Plasma Cutting
Using the latest plasma cutting technology we can design and cut profiles in our workshop or out on site using our 240v machine. Cnc Plasma Cutting is also available on request.
CNC Laser Cutting
All our products use CNC laser cut parts to ensure consistency in manufacture, a top quality finish and a reduction in labour costs. If you require CNC laser cut parts as either a 1 off or a batch of 10,000 all you need to do is send us a dxf file or a description of what you require and we will return a quote to you usually within 2 or 3 days. Delivery is available nationwide.
Powder Coating
GST fabrication uses powder coating as the main finishing technique for all its products unless otherwise requested. We can Coat a frame up to 6m x 1.8m x 1.2m with the turnaround of just 1 week.
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a “skin”. The powder may be a thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. Powder coating is mainly used for coating of metals

Electro Plating
All moving or wear parts are electroplated to form a hard wearing surface resistant to corrosion. We can electroplate almost anything in steel providing the surface of the material is in good condition.
Hydraulic Parts and equipment
We can Supply a wide range of Hydraulic rams, Pipes and Fittings. This is usually to compliment something we are manufacturing however if you are struggling to find a fitting or component elsewhere we can usually source anything you would need.
